At First Class Seating we design and manufacture custom theatre seating and décor built for years of reliable performance.

The comfort and structural integrity of our products reflects our unwavering commitment to extensive research and development, sound ergonomics, and the principles of sustainable design.

Great design begins with innovative thinking.

All First Class Seating products incorporate modular components, long-term durability, an eye for aesthetics and human-centered design. It all adds up to a new standard of comfort and visual appeal for theatre-goers.

Our short story, from niche company to national success.

We first opened our doors as Greystone Seating, a small company that manufactured traditional theatre seats for auditoriums and cinemas across the United States. In 2013 we joined Charter House Innovations, became First Class Seating and introduced the Bliss lounger, an instant hit at CinemaCon 2014. The extraordinary response of our cinema house customers has fueled our growth and our customers’ success.

Today our dedicated team of craftspeople produces upholstered furniture, partition walls, tables, chairs and loungers – essentially the entire interior environment – from our 200,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Holland, Michigan. They are supported by a creative team of designers, regional account managers, project managers and customer service representatives standing by to meet your specific interiors needs.

Sustainability is in our DNA.

We incorporate environmentally responsible practices and sustainable components into our designs, products and processes. First Class Seating materials are sourced from local suppliers whenever possible to support our community's economy and minimize our carbon footprint.

We also maintain a strict recycling program throughout our company that includes all paper, cardboard, wood, laminate, plastic, and metal. Most packaging materials received in-house are reused, and when possible, multiple orders are shipped together for greater efficiencies and reduced environmental impact.
